Fresh off a weeklong trip to Israel, State Police Superintendent Col. Mike Edmonson said Monday he was impressed by that nation’s security measures and its meticulous attention to detail.

The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) honored the Israel National Police during the IACP's 115th annual conference held November 8-12 in San Diego, Calif. The presentation took place during a luncheon sponsored by JINSA.

JINSA’s Law Enforcement Exchange Program (LEEP) Counter-Terrorism Conferences brought six Israeli experts to speak before more than 700 senior law enforcement officials over the course of two consecutive conferences in July 2008.

On July 25, 2005, The New York Times extensively detailed JINSA's continuing efforts to serve as a liason between American law enforcement leaders and their counterparts in Israel. Through the Law Enforcement Exchange Program, police departments across the nation are better prepared against the threat of terrorism.

On Sunday June 12, 2005, The Washington Post ran a large article on JINSA's Law Enforcement Exchange Program (LEEP) on page C01, the front page of the "Metro" section. The April 7 issue of The Hill, a newspaper dedicated to covering Congressional issues, recounts Capitol Police Commander Larry Thompson's experiences and insight gained through his participation in JINSA's 2004 Law Enforcement Exchange Program (LEEP) to Israel.
